Stacy Case`s career has taken her all over the world. She and her husband handpicked Nashville to raise their family and she is thrilled to be back home in the South. Stacy anchors Fox 17’s 5:30pm, 9pm & 10pm Newscast. She’s an Emmy award winning journalist who enjoys investigative reporting for Fox 17’s Waste Watch franchise as well as Stacy`s Saving You Money consumer segments. In her 24 year career, Stacy found the stories that matter most are the ones that effect change. “It`s one thing to cover a story. It`s another to offer solutions, to right a wrong, to be a voice for those who routinely go unheard. I am honored to be the conduit.”
Prior to joining Fox 17, Stacy worked at CBS Network News in New York as a national correspondent for CBS Newspath affiliate service, the CBS Morning News, CBS Early Show, CBS Weekend Edition, and CBS Up to the Minute. She spent her time reporting live on location across the country and the world covering 9/11, the crash of Space Shuttle Columbia, the Pope in Rome, D-Day Anniversary in Normandy and more. Stacy is very thankful for this front row seat to history.
She also enjoys fun TV and works for shows on HGTV, Fine Living Network, and DIY Network. Stacy`s career started at WXVT in Greenville, MS as the morning weather forecaster. Stacy served as the main anchor/lead reporter at WICD in Champaign, IL and then WCPO in Cincinnati before joining CBS Network News.
Stacy and her husband have been married 18 years and have two children. Stacy is a Girl Scout leader and volunteers her time with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, St. Jude Dream Home Campaign, Nashville Rescue Mission, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Read Across America, American Cancer Society`s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, & other charitable causes. She and her family are members of Brentwood United Methodist Church where she’s taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
