Most Memorable Assignments:
Among my best work is a one-hour documentary I produced on the D-Day invasion. I was in the Normandy region of France in the spring of 1994 to mark the 50th anniversary and heard tremendous tales of bravery from very courageous men.

I once broke the story of an elderly woman at a private nursing home. The owner of the home found her slumped in a chair. The woman was declared dead and taken to a funeral home where she woke up on the embalming table! What seemed like a quirky local feature snowballed into an international headline-grabber involving unlicensed nursing homes and declaration-of-death laws.
