My mom and dad are back in Massachusetts and I try to Facetime them almost every day. My younger sister and my brother-in-law are huge sushi fans, so they let me tag along to their favorite places.

The people I’ve met and the ones I will soon! Also, the weather is nice compared to New England winters.
Most memorable assignment:
Covering Hurricane Matthew in 2016. The stories I told of the devastation and the rebuilds will stay with me. Starting at WRAL during Hurricane Florence and covering Lumberton, NC, was also a memorable adventure. I had the opportunity to cover the 88th Academy Awards and the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards for WEBN.
