Nate Belt joined the NewsChannel 12 team as a reporter in May 2017. He comes to Eastern North Carolina after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Multimedia Journalism.
A proud Michigander, Nate was born and raised in Grand Rapids before moving south to Dallas, Texas, during high school. While in college, he reported and anchored for OStateTV, in addition to interning in the newsroom at WOOD TV8 in West Michigan.
Nate loves sports, specifically his beloved OSU Cowboys, so you will most likely see him wearing orange almost every day. He is a huge fan of movies and TV shows, and will gladly talk your ear off about Game of Thrones or the latest Marvel movie.
