Molly Levine joined the NewsChannel 12 team in June of 2019.
She was born and raised in Connecticut but moved to Eastern North Carolina after graduating from Indiana University in May of 2019, where she earned a B.A. in Sports Media with a Broadcast track.
While in college, Molly took on a few internships. She interned with NBC Connecticut, working with their sports department where she got to cover local Connecticut sports teams. She also interned for CBS Sports and had the opportunity to be a production assistant at the 2019 NCAA Final Four tournament.
At Indiana, Molly worked at the Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media and Technology as a videographer for IU sports teams and was a sideline reporter/sports anchor for a media club. Molly also wrote for a website covering IU sports.
She was a collegiate athlete at the university as a cheerleader for the men’s basketball and football team. Go Hoosiers!
Molly always knew she wanted to grow up to be a reporter. She likes being able to talk to people in her community and listen to their stories.
She loves traveling and living in new places like North Carolina! In her free time, Molly is usually running outside, at the beach or finding the best restaurants in town.
