Kate is a New Jersey native that just moved from New York. Before joining WCTI, she worked as a Production Assistant at WNYW Fox 5 New York.
She went to Grove City College in Pennsylvania and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in communication and a minor in Spanish. During that time, she had an internship at KDKA Radio in Pittsburgh and a TV News internship at WICU Erie News Now. She has wanted to be a TV reporter ever since she started watching ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews back in middle school, and has been pursuing a career as a journalist ever since.
In her free time, she likes to run and do anything outdoors. She loves watching football (specifically the New York Giants.) She is a big animal lover (especially cats) and is a passionate “Foodie”— she loves trying new foods! She does miss New York pizza and bagels, but she LOVES New Bern BBQ and everything about this town so far!
