Justin McFarland is an Emmy and AP Award Nominated morning reporter for Fox 17 News.
Justin is in his second tour of duty at Fox 17. He was a Fox 17 morning reporter from 2009-2014. He left for a few years to be the Morning and Midday News Anchor at WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama before making his return to Nashville.
Justin was no stranger to Nashville even before his TV career. He and his family moved to Music City when he was just 11-years old.
“I remember Nashville before the Batman Building,” Justin says. “It was a great place to grow up and it’s amazing to see the growth.”
Justin started his journalism career as a sports reporter for the Tennessee Tribune. He has also worked for several radio stations and even continues to host a talk radio show that airs in Huntsville, Alabama.
When he’s not on the scene or in the studio he enjoys date night with his wife and watching the NFL.
