Justin Chambers comes to us from Las Vegas, Nevada, via Colorado Springs.
He has been in broadcasting for nearly 30 years and has been working as a television meteorologist for the last 20.
“I love forecasting the weather and trying to figure out what the heck Mother Nature is going to do,” exclaimed Justin.
“Forecasting in the Front Range for the last five and a half years has prepared me for almost any kind of weather,” says Justin. From tornadoes to flash floods to snow and ice storms, Justin feels that he is ready to tackle the weather for the mid state.
Justin has a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and holds the Broadcaster’s Seal of Approval from both the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society.
He and his wife Jess and dog Nika Lu are thrilled to call Nashville home. “What a fantastic city and state! We can’t wait to check out all the great things Tennessee has to offer,” said Justin.
Justin joins Katy and Colleen as part of the Sky Watch 17 Forecast Team and is the FOX 17 News morning meteorologist.
