Jonathan joined the NBC 25/FOX 66 team in June of 2018 as a sports reporter and anchor, continuing his passion for telling stories on and off the field.
He comes from a sports-centric family: his sister is a former college gymnast, his mom worked for the Dallas Mavericks, and his dad is a lifelong sports fan with an accomplished weekend career in slow-pitch softball and golf.
Born and raised in Dallas, Jonathan graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in broadcast journalism. He spent the last four years at WIBW-TV in Topeka, Kansas, covering the Kansas City Royals in back-to-back World Series, the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats, and local high school sports in Northeast Kansas. He’s a two-time recipient of the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Sportscast of the Year award.
When not covering sports, you can find Jonathan yelling at his golf ball, then cheering himself up by trying new restaurants. He believes chips and queso should be considered its own food group, so if you have recommendations on restaurants to try, do not hesitate to pass them along.
