Jasmyn Durham joined the NBC25/FOX66 team as a reporter in August 2017. She joins us from WFFT in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she worked as a weekend anchor/producer and reporter.
Jasmyn’s love for news started in high school where she reported for her school newspaper and shadowed Detroit news anchors and reporters. She loves getting to the heart of a story and making it relative to viewers.
A Detroit native, Jasmyn is happy to be back home continuing her career here in mid-Michigan. When she’s not out covering stories, she enjoys mentoring, running, traveling and shopping.
Jasmyn graduated from Howard University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She also holds a Master’s in Education from Oakland University. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
