Professional experience: Co-founder of the now defunct Carolina Water Cooler website, which covered Tar Heel athletics largely by way of making fun of opponents. After a several year hiatus, burst back onto the scene to write about all of my UNC paraphernalia on Argyle Report’s “Carolina Collectibles” feature.
Education: BS in Business Administration, Master of Accounting. Both from the University of North Carolina.

Playing days: Three years of cross country and track at Statesville High School, 25 years of rec league basketball. Never dunked.
Most memorable moment in sports history: If we are going with something I was in the building for, it’s probably a tie between the 2017 National Championship and Marvin Williams’ put back against Duke in 2005. Though I was also present for the Kris Jenkins buzzer beater in 2016 and “the incident,” between Gerald Henderson and Tyler Hansbrough, and am unlikely to shake the emotional scarring caused by either any time soon.
Favorite sports venue: Is there a correct answer other than the Dean Dome?
If I wasn’t working in sports I would be: This one is easy, since sports is only a side gig for me. I’m a CPA with a job in finance at a specialty running retailer and also happen to run an accounting firm on the side. If I was working full time in sports, I’d be the guy responsible for counting and tracking the location of all of Roy Williams’ unused timeouts.
