Dave couldn`t be more excited about returning to his hometown of Nashville. A 1989 graduate of Franklin High School, Dave also attended several Davidson County schools from kindergarten through 8th grade. (Go J.T. Moore Jr. High School Matadors!) He started anchoring sports at Fox 17 in February 2007. Before returning to the anchor desk, Dave worked for over a year in the newsroom at the assignment desk, helping to coordinate news coverage.
Prior to FOX 17, Dave worked in sports in Marshall, Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana. He`s is a 1993 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, with a Bachelors degree in Communications. He loves the SEC, (especially football) and is thrilled about having the chance to cover it once again. (He found it tough in Louisiana being surrounded by so many LSU fans.)
In his spare time, Dave enjoys watching sports, spending time with his family, and playing Texas Hold Em.
