BROOKE O’DANIEL

Brooke O’Daniel is a native Hoosier who is excited to be reporting in the land of the Fighting Irish.

She is an award-winning journalist that comes to WSBT 22 from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She started at FOX 55 as a multimedia journalist and then spent three years as the station’s weekday evening anchor. During her time in Fort Wayne, Brooke’s experiences ranged from accompanying police on a drug raid, to going through the rigorous experience of firefighter training, to interviewing everyone from former Indiana Governor and now current Vice President Mike Pence to performers in the bands Styx and the Beach Boys.

Brooke also worked at a station in Tennessee, anchoring and reporting for the 5 and 5:30 p.m. newscasts.

She graduated cum laude from Huntington University and competed at NAIA Nationals in cross country and track. Brooke still loves to stay active as you can often find her hiking trails, riding on local bike paths, or running a 5-K in her spare time.

Brooke is enjoying the beaches of Lake Michigan, and loves exploring the area with her family. Brooke plans to spend many weekends at Notre Dame stadium cheering on the Irish. If you have a story idea, please send Brooke an email at
