Bri MacNaught

My love for sports started when I was a young girl thanks to a very competitive family. Growing up in Florida we spent our Fall seasons on a football field watching my two older brothers and our Springs and Summers at the ball park and lacrosse field trying to add to our trophy collection.

My passion for sports only grew stronger when I went to the University of Central Florida and was given the opportunity to follow my dream of becoming a sports broadcaster. I found my niche with UCF athletics by becoming the Color Commentator for the Division I Men’s Baseball team, Men’s Soccer team, and Women’s Basketball team. I also interned with the NBC WESH 2 sports team in Orlando Florida covering everything from nationally ranked high school teams to the NBA’s Orlando Magic.

For the past two years, I was in the Florida Panhandle as the Weekend Sports Anchor covering everything from high school state championships to the Florida State University athletic programs.

I’m very excited to continue pursuing my enthusiasm for sports with the WALA Fox 10 team and I can’t wait to meet all of the amazing athletes, coaches, and fans in Alabama!
