BOB MONTGOMERY

Morning and noon anchor Bob Montgomery has been a broadcast journalist since 1989 when he started his career in the St. Louis, MO market at radio station WIBV. In 1991, Bob and his wife moved to WSBT to continue his career in South Bend. Since then, Bob has been the morning radio news anchor on WSBT. In 1996, Bob was promoted to the position of news and program director for WSBT Radio. Bob is proud to have headed a radio news staff that is the most award winning in South Bend over the last two decades.

Bob is also extremely proud to work for WSBT, the broadcast company he calls the best in the industry. And he’s proud and humbled to be able to continue his career on television with WSBT 22 First in the Morning.

His wife and two daughters live in Granger. He likes to stay active with his family in all four seasons. The family loves swimming, travel and golf in the summer and sledding and skiing in the winter.
