Most memorable moment in sports history: Can’t pick one. My Dad is Philadelphian so Joe Carter’s home run in the 1993 World Series stands out. Pure heartbreak. Tiger’s win at Augusta in 1997. 2001 State Championship in Soccer. We won in overtime at the old Paul Derr Field! I morphed into a Chicago sports fan after living there for four years so celebrating on Clark St. after the Blackhawks 2010 Stanley Cup win. That was crazy. I hope we can do that again here in Raleigh. And, of course, the Cubs 1st World Series win in 108 years in 2016. Bet you didn’t know it had been 108 years.
Favorite sports venue: Augusta National
If I wasn’t working in sports I would be: A chef. I have a knack for pursuing careers that have horrible hours and low wages.
